We are currently looking for a Cost Data Scientist Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN.
During your internship, you will have the chance to become an integral team member collaborating with manufacturing, design, and purchasing departments to develop analytics tools and predictive models. Explore opportunities to adopt AI, and develop operational analysis tools, reporting, and dashboards within Tableau environment.
A Day in the Life:
Perform routine system maintenance
Develop new Tableau user interface
Streamline back-end data manipulation to improve in-house tool response time
Leverage AI and machine learning to automate data collection processes and identify anomalies
Who We’re Looking for:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other computer/engineering related discipline
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and possess creative problem-solving skills
Project Management skills (organization and time management skills)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with or Desire to learn
Software & Web development
C++ / Python / SQL / R programming language
Tableau
Data collection, storage, and analysis
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
